Gentle day walks along the stunning Moroccan Atlantic coastline
This region is located along the Atlantic Coast near Essaouira.

With a variety of habitats to explore, from coastal scrub and forest , hikers can enjoy an amazing diversity of ecosystems along the hiking trails of the Space Coast.

essaouira's prime hiking season is from April through November, the weather is drier.

Less well-known is its spectacular Atlantic coastline. Our relaxed one-week trip follows coastal paths to the attractive town of Essouira.

On the way we pass secluded fishing villages, Argan tree orchards, deserted sandy beaches and rocky cliff tops. As a constant companion we have splendid views and the roar of the crashing surf of the Atlantic Ocean .

The trip is led by one of our experienced local guides, assisted by camp and cook staff, and a caravan of camels to carry our luggage. We end the trip with some relaxing free time in both Essouira and Marrakech.

Trekking team: A Berber guide who speaks English, a cook and camel drivers from the Essaouira region.

 

Food on trek: Our Berber cook each day will prepare a variety of well-balanced meals, principally based on fresh produce. Breakfast: tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, jam, honey, margarine, cheese, corn flakes. Lunch: salads, rice, lentils, beans, tuna, patès. Dinner: meat and vegetable dish, couscous, soup, pates. Dried fruits during rest stops.
