Walking in Toubkal massifs:

Many people would like to explore the mountains of Morocco but not everyone wants

to rough it on trek.

This centre-based trip offers the chance to enjoy easy day walking in Toubkal

from the truly spectacular villages, perched on a hilltop surrounded by the high peaks.

Whether you want to walk each day or prefer to relax and visit local villages, the

choice is yours and the experience will be unforgettable. And of course no visit to the

area would be complete without Marrakech - a vibrant and beautiful city and an

exciting contrast to the tranquillity of the mountains.

Mt. Toubkal at 4167 metres is the highest mountain in North Africa and is a fitting climax to our

short trek in this stunning region. On this fascinating trek we will have time to explore the fertile

valleys and deep gorges we are trekking through, visiting Berber villages and meeting the

friendly, colourful inhabitants.

We will visit the most remote regions, steep sided , sunny valleys with tiny villages whose

way of life hasn't changed for centuries. The last day of the trek will be the day that we

climb the Toubkal summit.
